Helping Alternative Teens Through Intervention

Helping Alternative Teens Through Intervention (“HATTI”) is looking for volunteer case managers to help and talk to clients between the ages of 13 and 24 years old who are experiencing temporary or long term issues with many different things; such as sexual orientation, sexual identity, crisis intervention, suicidal thoughts and much more.

We do not turn away any person no matter the age or sexual orientation or gender identity concerns.  We talk to and help every one of all ages, creed, color and religions.  We do not discriminate based upon our beliefs or social up bringing ever!

HATTI is solely a volunteer case management business, we are seeking non-profit 501(c) (3) status with the IRS and the State of Florida and other States as needed.

Once we get these credentials and can apply for grants through Federal, State and local resources it will help us to better help our Clients and volunteers. 

Right now we are seeking volunteers to staff our crisis intervention phone line from their home and talk with Clients who need our help in many different ways.

This position requires the following requirements:

• High speed internet connection (DSL is not recommended but is ok with 7+mbps connection)
• You must be 18 years old or older to be a volunteer case manager
• You must be able to speak the English language fluently, bi-lingual is A+
• Preferred is someone who is currently or has taken some sort of humanities, social worker, psychology or related classes in a college or high school setting
• You must be familiar with the internet and internet applications as our complete database and Client information is cloud hosted
• We are open 24/7/365 so anyone who is a day person or night owl is much appreciated
• You must be able to remain calm during crisis situations – as you are dealing with clients who may be thinking about suicide or harm of others
• You must not be a registered sexual offender or sexual predator in any state or country
